New Orleans Part Deux

More fun being tourists!!

A family photo with a crawfish...
And this fence, which we take pictures of every single time we go to New Orleans.  Why? Because, when do you ever see a fence that was designed to look like cornstalks?  Awesome!!

Some street performers:

I just can't get enough of the architecture and style of this city.  It's so beautiful, it's almost overwhelming.

After we dropped my parents off at their hotel to cool off, Dan and I took the street car uptown and saw some gorgeous homes along the way.  We were on the St Charles Street Car which is the oldest continuing running streetcar in the world.  We had a mixed bag of folks on the street car going both up and back down town.  We noticed a good mix of locals and tourists alike taking the car which is great to see - that locals do still use this type of public transportation.

Finally, our tour had to end because we had a wedding to attend that night!
